In the original story, James Howlett is the second child of Elizabeth and John Howlett who are wealthy landowners in Canada. He made his first full appearance on November 1974 in the 181st issue of The Incredible Hulk comics. He is one of the fictional characters of Marvel and was created by Len Wein (writer) and John Romita Sr. Wolverine is commonly known as Logan but his real name is James Howlett.
You simply cannot miss him if you have seen the X-Men wherein he is an outstanding member. He is the fierce clawed-fighter with animal instincts.
